AL CAPP's Lil Abner : 1940' -1950's Li'l Abner Comic Strips and Ephemera

Cartoonist Al Capp created 'Li'l Abner' - the satirical American comic strip that featured a clan of hillbillies from the impoverished mountain village of Dogpatch, USA. The comic strip ran for 43 years (1934-1977). Comic strips had typically dealt with urban life experiences in the North.
