Original publisher's green cloth binding with silver-foil lettering and silver-foil illustration on front cover. No lettering on spine. Contains twelve black-and-white, tipped-in photographs on beige cardboard. Small red border and copyright information in red lettering on each card. 4 1/2" x 6 1/2." Twelve black-and-white photographic souvenir cards, possibly complete. Two cards are tipped in and attached to inside of front cover. Covers are virtually pristine and intact except for a few red marks on front. Photographic souvenir cards are very clean and intact but two groupings are loose and laid in (all of the cards may have been originally tipped in and attached to the covers like the first two). Each group of card is attached along the spine in an accordion fold. Cards slightly age-toned. A Very Good copy. A souvenir album containing twelve photographs on cardboard of various locales and landmarks in Dresden, Germany. Each card has a copyright date of 1900. "Verlag v. Rommler & Jonas, K. S. Hof-Photogr., Dresden, 1900" printed on each card. Stamp on back of one of the cards (perhaps from the bookbinder or printer). Each photo has a title or caption printed in white lettering at the bottom identifying the corresponding subject. The following are the captions and brief description of each souvenir card: "Dresden" (panoramic city view), "Brulsche Terrasse" (view of buildings and stairs at Bruhl's Terrace), "Kunst-Akademie und Frauenkirche" ("Academy of Fine Arts, Frauenkirche" on River Elbe), "Landeplatz der Dampfschiffe" (perspective view of a pier and boardwalk with buildings and steamships), "Kath. Kirche u. Schloss" ("Catholic Church and Castle" in a plaza), "Konigl. Opernhaus" ("Konigliche Opera House"), "Der Zwinger" (famous Baroque building with gardens), "Frauenkirche" (Dresden's famous Lutheran church), "Altmarkt u.
