Afrikaans. Undated, c1990s. The title page has been signed and inscribed by the author in black ink; Anna Bender was the accompanist of choice for both international and local singers.The wraps are rather rubbed and worn, with a large patch of warping and surface damage on the bottom corner of the front. This does not affect the pages within however. There is a crease in the bottom corner of the back as well. Internally, the pages are clean and complete, although in the last few pages, the bottom corners are a touch creased/warped, but this is not immediately noticeable. The binding remains tight. Verna Vels (13 June 1933 – 21 August 2014) was a South African writer, and radio/television personality. She was responsible for programs on art and programs concerning youth. She was closely involved in the planning of television programs for the establishment of the Afrikaans service and started the children's magazine. Her most famous work was "Liewe Heksie", the stories were originally written for radio and later published and edited for television and video
