Bensusan devoted his life to the promotion of photography in Africa. He was the inventor of the instantaneous X-Ray; he was the first South African to win a documentary award at the Cannes Festival. This history is in general fair condition. The dustjacket has much wear and tear to extremities, seams and corners. The dj spine has wear to the head and foot. The dj back cover has open and closed tears to the top and bottom edges. The black board cover is sturdy, strong, dignified. It is marked.
