Pages are clean and intact overall except for a few wrinkles, slight rippling, occasional offsetting, and light to moderate foxing and staining throughout (text still readable). A Very Good copy. A Christian tract about the importance of Christian worship within the family in a domestic setting. Authored by Edward Bickersteth (1786-1850), an English evangelical clergyman. He also had a son of the same name, Edward Henry Bickersteth (1825-1906), who became the Bishop of Exeter. Tract No. 230 of the American Tract Society. The American Tract Society (ATS) is an evangelical organization that was founded in 1825 as the result of a merger between the New York Religious Tract Society (founded in 1812) and the New England Religious Tract Society (founded in 1814). Upon its founding, ATS became the first organization in the United States whose express mission was to hand out Christian tracts.
