224 pages (complete). A most inconsiderately stored copy. The book is stoic even heroic in places but is still competent and useful. Boer prisoners of war were sent mainly to small islands of the Empire (Bermuda, St Helena and Ceylon) as well as India. This account by a boer prisoner is much marked and worn all about. The covers are certain, sure, marked and patient. Within, the pages are stained about the edges from storage. Pages 151-154 have been much damaged by storage conditions. They are serviceable and included. The pages are otherwise competent, certain and clear. fk. Book Condition: Poor. Binding: Hardcover.
