Top edge lightly dust marked and with some light occasional spotting. Very good in nicked, chafed, torn and tanned non-price-clipped dust wrapper with several small areas of edge-loss and a two-inch tear to the base of the spine panel. The author's first non-pseudonymous novel, and the first of three 'serious' novels commissioned by Cape ('Starting Point' and 'Child of Misfortune' followed).
