RKO Radio will distribute the film." Arlene Dahl (b. 1925) is an American film actress who appeared in a number of MGM movies. Slightly Scarlet (1956) is a film noir based on James M. Cain's book, Love's Lovely Counterfeit. In the movie, Dahl plays an ex-con who is part of a complicated love triangle including crooked cops, crime bosses, and her sister.. Photographic Image.
