Illustrated with nine plates of his inscriptional works, plus one drawing and one wood-engraving, one of which is reproduced in black and red. A single isolated fox-spot to the cloth at the rear board, and two further tiny spots to the fore edge. A trace of near-invisible toning to the free endpapers. A virtually fine copy - about as nice an example as one might find - housed in a price-clipped dust wrapper which is slightly toned at the spine panel and at the margins of the front and rear panels, but otherwise in excellent state.
