Internally: Former owners' names and a date, along with notations by bookseller in pencil on first free endpaper. Scattered foxing, creases, some soiling, and light waving of text block. Several page corners bumped (with creases). Else overall Very Good. Free of bookplates or stickers. Pages very readable, illustrations clean, vivid. A beautiful, decorative hardcover and a classic Dickens's story. Edwin Drood is the uncle of Edwin Drood, John Jasper, who, among other activities, directs the choir, smokes opium, and has an infatuation with one of his pupils.
