Jacket is price clipped, tanned, rubbed and chipped, with some unfortunate loss to spine (minor loss and tearing to spine ends, and a 2 inch portion of loss to the centre). Inscription by previous owner dated 1943, to verso of ffep. There is some darkening and foxing to the board edges and foxing also to endpapers and title pages, otherwise contents are clean and tidy, colour plates in good condition, with tissue guards..
