Both volumes have an ex-libris plate of G (Gerald) de C (Courcy) O'Grady with the O'Grady coat of arms (per pale Gules and Sable three lions passant per pale Argent and Or. Crest: A horse's head erased Argent. Motto: vulneratus non victus). The O'Grady's of Clare and Limerick can be traced back to Cormac Cas and are one of the oldest and most established of Irish Families. Both are numbered 372 of a limited edition of 1000 copies. The claret coloured boards have wear, scuffing, marks. They are healthy, contented, sound. The frontis and end papers have age-related marks and mottling. The page edges have foxing.
