The illustrated cloth jacket has suffered from poor care and storage. Notwithstanding the title and cover illustration are clear. There is age, storage and usage wear and tear. Both front and back covers are faded. The spine has been much affected by storage and there is open wearing to the head and foot. The spine edges have cracking. The inside front cover has a previous owner incscription. The front pages have discolouration and the edges are affected by insects. The binding is strong - although noisy. The text and illustrations are clear, clean and complete. Throughout there are instances of mottling and age spotting. The paper trim edges are storage and light discoloured.
