Some light toning, soiling, chafing and creasing to the wrappers. A tiny circular area of residue to one corner of the front wrapper, from where a sticker was presumably removed. A nice crisp copy. This copy from the library of David Gascoyne, which his bookplate to the inner front wrapper. Laid-in is a postcard to Gascoyne from an unknown individual who would appear to have sent him the current book, alongside an original photograph with a handwritten message in French on the reverse addressed to Gascoyne's wife, Judy..
