Original black-and-white publicity photograph showing a portrait of Joan Fontaine wearing an elegant black dress and ornate jewelry. No date, circa 1956. 8" x 10." "B R O. J F-12." printed in lower-right corner on front, an abbreviation of "Beyond a Reasonable Doubt" and the actress's initials. "O K" written in pencil on back. Typed description tipped in on back. Photo is very clean and intact overall but has a few wrinkles and a small smudge on back. A Very Good copy. Joan Fontaine (1917-2013) was a British-American actress best-known for her movie roles during Hollywood's "Golden Age." She was the younger sister of fellow actress Olivia de Havilland (1916-2020). The description reads, "Joan Fontaine. blonde, glamorous Academy Award winner, plays a woman who fights to clear her fiance of a murder charge in RKO's 'Beyond a Reasonable Double,' exciting suspense drama in which Miss Fontaine co-stars with Dana Andrews.
