Nine black-and-white plates including a frontispiece portrait of the author, complete. Former owner's bookplate of "Wm. Carey Jones" tipped in on front pastedown. Pages and covers are very clean and intact overall. Spine is sunned and has faded to a light brown. A couple tiny dampstains and minuscule rubbing to the covers. Minimal splitting to inner hinges. Head and tail of spine slightly worn. Pages are age-toned and slight wear to deckled edges. A Very Good copy. Souvenirs of My Time is an autobiography by Jessie Benton Fremont (1824-1902). She was the wife of John C. Fremont (1813-1890), the famous politician, explorer, and first Republican presidential nominee of the United States.
