Copiously illustrated with colour and black and white drawings by the author. A six-page introduction by Maisie Ward precedes thirty-six hitherto unprinted Chesterton stories, including three juvenile efforts penned when he was just seventeen and eighteen years old. A very light scattering of spotting to the top- and for edge, and a little light partial browning to the free endpapers. A very good copy in non-price-clipped dust wrapper reproducing another Chesterton colour drawing; the wrapper a little chafed and creased at the upper edge with two tiny fractions of loss.
