Dust wrapper is clean and intact overall but the front panel and spine have several chips at or near the top and bottom edges. One of the chips on the dust wrapper measures 1 1/2" x 3/4"; the remaining chips are moderate to small in size. Dust wrapper is not price-clipped. No remainder marks. A Fine book in a Good dust wrapper. Hamlin Garland (1860-1940) was an American author. He wrote a number of novels, short stories, poems, and essays. He is perhaps best-known for his novels featuring depictions of Midwestern families and culture.
