With six colour plates reproducing works by John Minton (his superb hop picking watercolour 'In the Country'), Edward Ardizzone, L.S.Lowry &c., and seventeen monochrome reproduction in the text (works by Sickert, Topolski, Pissarro, Anthony Gross, Henry Moore, Laura Knight &c.). Some light partial toning to the free endpapers. A virtually fine copy in dust wrapper, with a little wear to the extremities, and a two-inch diagonal tear to the base of the front panel.
