Buy this book on-line Hart's Sunday Album : One Hundred and Nine Vocal and Instrumental CompositionsF Pitman, Hart & Co., London
112 pages (complete). A much owned and most inconsiderately stored copy. It is nonetheless resonant with ownership and the past. Please note that the cover titling declares 91 compositions. The title page declared one hundred and nine. The frontispage has a previous owner signature (Ada Burberry) dated 1904. Added to this is another familial annotation noting that she used to be the organist at the Presbyterian Church in Queenstown in the Eastern Cape. The red, decorated boards of this book of popular hymns are much worn, scuffed and marked. The spine is very worn, but fit and functional. The boards are steady and sure. The frontis and end papers are very tanned and are crisp. The contents are foxed, marked, worn all through. There is evidence of happy use throughout. Nonetheless, the pages are clear, benevolent, placid, clean, competent and eager. fk. Book Condition: Poor. Binding: Hardcover.
