Complete - text plus addenda. First French translation. An attractive and most unusual edition of Hemingway's bull-fighting classic. Numbered 1019 of a limited edition of 4000. A MUST for any collector modern classics and/ or books by Hemingway. The book is generously illustrated with photographs of bull-fighting. There is also an appendix of bull-fighting terms. Landscape format. The book has a clear film protective cover that has remnants of scotch tape still attached. There is some wear to this cover but it is intact. The yellow cloth cover has a colour illustration that is bright and alert. The covers have sunning to the spine and to the top runs. There is mild shelving wear. The frontis and end pages have tape residue. The contents are thrilling, vigorous and confident. The pages are clean, clear, exciting, visceral. A different, wonderful book that fleshes out and gives life to Hemingway's somewhat gruff style. fk. Book Condition: Good. Binding: Hardcover. Jacket: No Jacket
