This sturdy, stoic book is in general fair condition. The waxed cloth cover is firm but has wear and marking from shelving and handling. There is wear about all extremities and corners and at the head and foot of the spine. The binding is very generally resilient. There is cracking along each paper/page bunch. Nonetheless, the stitching is courageously holding firmly onto the contents which can used with ease and confidence. The inside front cover and frontispage have previous owner marks. There is foxing throughout. All pages are present, all illustration plates complete. The book ends with 32 pages of advertisements from the publisher catalogue. The pages are firm and their foundation to the binding is robust. The pages are clear despite the mottling and age. fk. Book Condition: Fair. Binding: Hardcover.
