Forty-two black-and-white illustrations, complete. A book of haiku and senryu by Thelma Richie Homer, an author based in Nevada and Idaho. The poems are beautifully complemented by calligraphy and ink-and-wash illustrations by Damba Tsolman, a Mongolian artist who specializes in traditional Mongolian calligraphy and paintings. The author's Introduction: "THese small landscapes of thought in the Japanese fashion of haiku, some senryu, are of seventeen syllables arranges in a sequence of 5-7-5 pattern, impressionistic, sometimes not logical--a small drama in which to find yourself, to recall and treasure your own experiences." Back Colophon: "This book was printed on acid-free 120 gram Bakri Avorio paper using Viner Hand ITC font. The book block was first hand-sewn onto linen tapes. The spine was then reinforced and attacked to the covers.
