HONDIUS, Henricus : Scotiae Regnum

350 x 460 mm., with two water stains in the lower margin, well away from the image. In good condition otherwise with modern wash colour.

This fine map of the whole of Scotland in two sheets is by the famous Gerard Mercator and was first published in the 'Atlantis Pars Altera', 1595, in Duisberg. (Atlantes) 5801:1.1.
