First Edition (first printing). A presentation copy, inscribed by the author in June 1943 to fellow poet E.H.Visiak "to thank him for his [verse collection] Medusa". A subsequent note inked to the front pastedown shows that Visiak later passed it to poet Kenneth Hopkins. There is a little pencilled underlining, and some pencilled notes to the rear endpaper which appear to be in Hopkins' hand. 8vo. vi, 76pp. Red cloth lettered in gold at the spine. Fore edge, endpapers and two or three preliminary leaves very lightly spotted. A very good copy in toned, marked and lightly chafed and nicked dust wrapper.. Book. Book Condition: Very Good.
