This handsome map from Speed's "Theatre of the Empire of Great Britaine", after Jodocus Hondius 1610 engraving, was described by Christopher Saxton and augmented by John Speed in 1612. This striking map of England has along its side decorative costume figures and a detailed table of all the Shires and other important location of England.
