Being the further adventures of Deeley Montford "Steeley" Delaroy, gentleman adventurer, sometime air-smuggler,more recently unofficial police agent.Told by his war-time comrade, and partner in his adventures,Captain Eric "Tubby" Wilde.
Sky High begins the strange story of Deeley Montford Delaroy, known to his friends as 'Steeley',ex R.A.F pilot turned
smuggler, who distributed most of his financial gains anonymously to deserving charities.
After several exciting brushes with the police in England and on the Continent, Steeley takes over a gun-running expedition to Hertzovnia when the original
pilot is killed. On arrival his machine is shot down and Steeley and his companions taken prisoner.
Steeley's resourcefulness,however,enables
them to escape, taking with them cetain documents which later prove of vital importance to the Foreign Office and they
return to England by air only to find
their headquarters surrounded by police.
The manner of their ultimate escape makes a surprise ending to this tale, which Captain Johns has crammed full of thrills and excitement.
