This is Walt Whitman's vision of art-as-democracy. Born in Lithuania, Algimantas Kezys came to the United States as a young man and then travelled all over the world again as a photographer. His work is in the Permanent Collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Carnegie Institute of Pittsburgh, among other major museums. Algimantas Kezys died on February 23, 2015 at the age of 87, after a life lived to the fullest. An absolute "must-have" title for Algimantas Kezys collectors.
