Very good in the original spiral bound thin card pictorial wrappers as issued. Some 230pp. photocopies of articles and letters and promotional material, asssembled in the form of an elaborate "Press Book". Artyist name and address and telephone number, presumably in his hand, inside front cover. Ken Kirkby was born in 1940 in London, England. His family moved to Spain in 1945 and then one year later to Portugal where he spent his formative years. Kirkby moved to Canada in 1958, then traveled the Far North and on returning from the Arctic, Kirkby took up residence in Vancouver. His crowning achievement is a massive work titled Isumataq. Measuring 152 feet long by 12 feet in height. Isumataq is the largest portrait on canvas ever painted.
