Inscribed by Author(s)Fully bound, the author has inscribed this copy on the op-title page. This book has been let down by inconsiderate storage. The contents have been subject to damp, which mercifully, thanks to the binding, the cover has escaped. The cover has general marking and some scuffing. The back cover has the residue of a sticker at the top corner edge. The paper trim edges have handling and shelving marks. The damp has warped and stained the inward leading edges of the pages. This has particularly affected the last pages (index pages). The main text of the bulk of the pages are unaffected and are consequently clear and easy to read.
