He claimed to have known the identity of Jack the Ripper - which was discounted for many years although the idea of the veracity of this has resurfaced. The condition of this book is generally good. The card cover is retro in aspect with much wear to the corners, edges and seams. The spine is sunned but whole and intact. The cloth cover is calm and firm. There is shelving and storage wear to all edges. The head and foot of the spine are worn, the body of the spine is youthful and healthy. Inside, there are previous ownership stamps.
