Eventually moving to New York and joining the Ziegfield Follies, and then on to Hollywood in the 1920s. She was a WAMPAS Baby Star in 1924. Her most famous movie was THE MAN WHO CAME BACK with George O'Brien. Mackaill's career survived the change to talkies, but retired in 1937, later did some TV work.. Book.
