Illustrated with scores and scores of photographs and folding colour maps, and with loose folding colour maps housed in rear pockets of volumes II, III and IV, as required. Top edges spotted, and with just a touch of light spotting to occasional free endpapers and preliminary leaves. The binding just a little tender at one gathering of the first volume. A very good set in non-price-clipped dust wrappers. The wrapper of the first volume exhibits some heavy internal taped repair, the residue of which has bled through to the upper side, and is also a little toned and nicked, but the other four wrappers are in very good condition with just a touch of nicking but no loss to the spine panel ends, and one or two other extremities, and just a touch of very light toning and marking..
