Good plus condition with green covers and old gold lettering on spine. Front cover has large paper paste-up of Emily sitting on grass with a book in her hands while gazing at the trees.. Leaf details around the picture. This paper paste-up is worn in the middle from sliding on and off the shelf as it stood between other books. Some edge wear on covers with some corner bump. Inked Christmas greeting on ffep. Front and rear hinges cracked making the text shaky but nothing is falling apart. Frontispiece matches front cover and is entitled 'Somehow my books have a meaning there they never have anywhere else'. Original onion skin protective page. Text is quite clean with normal page browning and a foxed spot here and there. Although not in the best condition this is still an afforable edition. ; Small 8vo; 312 pages, G+.
