Morris," with "1901" in pencil below. Covers worn, chipped at corners. Cords detached from rear board. 10 typed signed or manuscript letters from Morse are included, along with other letters from Edward Howe Forbush, A. K. Fisher, Allen Treadway, Winthrop Packard and H. C. Lodge, etc. Noted ornithologist Bagg has pasted the text of pp. 6 - 44 of Morris's book to blank notepaper, and has written his own birding notes on the facing page. Following this is Bagg's signed certificate from the American Ornithologist's Union, confirming his appointment to Associate (from the 34th meeting, Nov. 1916). The index from Morris's index to his book follows this, as before pasted to blank notepaper. Lastly, pasted to the rear endpapers is a newsclipping about bird migration.
