Original publisher's blue paper wrappers with tipped-in red paper title label on front. 6" x 8 1/2." Unpaginated, thirty-one pages, complete. One color frontispiece and twenty-one black-and-white plates, complete. Pages are virtually pristine and intact except for some age toning on some of the pages. Covers are very clean and intact but are age-toned throughout (most of the covers are a light gray-brown except for the center which is blue) and have a few bumps, wrinkles, and surface scratches. A Very Good copy. A concise monograph about the acclaimed Japanese-American artist, Kasuo Kuniyoshi (1889-1953). Kuniyoshi was a painter, draftsman, printmaker, and photographer who chose a variety of subjects in his art. Reprinted here in this booklet are thirteen of his paintings and eight of his drawings.
