Barbara Nichols (1928-1976) was an American film and television actress. The description refers to Nichols, a "screen newcomer," and her role in RKO Radio Pictures' film noir, Beyond a Reasonable Doubt (1956). This movie was produced by Bert Friedlob and starred Dana Andrews and Joan Fontaine. Excerpt from the description: "It's only [Nichols's] third movie role but it's obvious things are shaping up beautifully for the former Manhattan girl, known in New York as 'TV's answer to Marilyn Monroe.'"
