Haydn (1732-1809) was a prominent Austria composer of the Classical period. He was instrumental in the development of Chamber music such as the piano trio and his contributions to musical form earned him the epithets "Father of the Symphony" and "Father of the String Quartet." He was also teacher to Beethoven. Copy has a black and white portrait of Haydn. Head and tail are slightly bumped and the corners are slightly worn. Pages are very clean and complete.
