Circa 1900, sized 6 x 9.5 inches, on heavy gloss paper, generally very clean and bright. The author, b. Templeton, Worcester County, Massachusetts, November 16, 1838, was a student at the Wisconsin State University when the call was issued for Civil War soldiers to represent the Union. Norcross was the first to enlist, in the Governor's Guards, which were attached to the First Wisconsin Infantry, Company K. He was later with the 13th Regiment and was ultimately elected Captain. After the war, he returned to Wisconsin and was involved in business and politics.. Print. Book Condition: VG.
