Circa 1900, sized 6 x 9.5 inches, on heavy gloss paper, generally very clean and bright. The author, b. Hartford, Washington County, Wisconsin, was a lawyer and politician. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1882 and set up a law practice in Madison. He was district attorney for Dane County, city attorney of Madison, and in 1890 was elected state attorney general, serving two terms, 1891 - 1895. In 1895 he moved to Milwaukee, where he maintained a private law practice until his death.. Print. Book Condition: VG.
