First edition (first printing) of the author's second book, and first solo publication. Tall slim 8vo. 19pp + [i] publisher's advertisements. Sewn wrappers featuring a black-stamped illustration of Winston Churchill. The wrappers lightly faded, soiled and marked, with a touch of creasing to the yapped edges. Both gatherings uncut at the fore- and upper edges. Some quite light spotting to the half-title, advertisement leaf and to the final two text leaves. A very good, unopened copy of a scarce publication, featuring three poems satirising Churchill and the Great War (the poems that were originally printed in the 'Daily Herald' and 'The Nation').
