Fitting into the post Great War 'mania' for spiritualism, the Rev. G Owen received and recorded these messages and stories from Paul and Albert. There is no marked publication date nor edition number. It is probable that publication was c.1924. This is an ex-library (Cape Town Psychic Club Library) copy, with consequent markings, stamps and wear. Although showing its age this copy is in resilient condition. The blue cloth cover has wear to all extremities - particularly about the corners. The bodies of both front and back covers are worn and marked from shelving, storage and handling. The spine has wear to the head and foot. There is residue of a library sticker at the bottom of the spine. The left hand spine edge is much worn, in places cracked. Inside the frontispage has stuck to the inside cover. The binding is off balance but still secure and tenancious. The back pages have discolouration and the residue of tape.
