Copper Engraving, Image Size : 444x661 (mm), 17.48x26.02 (Inches), Platemark Size : 448x665 (mm), 17.64x26.18 (Inches), Paper Size : 498x704 (mm), 19.61x27.72 (Inches), Black & White, Two small tears in upper margin on right and left of the central fold, not affecting plate, otherwise in very good condition.

This print appears in Piranesi's 'Vedute di Roma', from the 1761 printing in Rome, before the first state (Paris 1st edition; Hind 56).

There are no numbers in the upper right corner. The signature "Piranesi F." is near to the lower left inside the border.

Printed on laid 18th-century paper.

Appears to match watermark 35 in Wilton-Ely, which indicates a date of 1761-mid 1760s.
