This book sparked an interest in the form generally but particularly in the Franco-Belgian 'bandes dessinée' tradition.He wrote and illustrated his debut graphic novel 'Nightfall' which was published in France by Editions Delcourt in 2013,adding 2 other volumes - La Foi (September 2013) and La Chute (March 2014) to complete the series.He has written and illustrated for various publications.This includes adapting and illustrating the graphic novel version of Harper Lee’s 'To Kill a Mockingbird',adapting F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 'The Great Gatsby',again for a graphic novel,and illustrating this Philip Pullman’s debut graphic novel,'The Adventures of John Blake: Mystery of the Ghost Ship.'
