Very good in the original dark blue Arts and Crafts cloth gilt by Laurence Houseman, the head of the spine worn and chipped, head rear hinge split externally, hinges rubbed, text clean and tight. LACKING the frontispiece. An interesting association copy, having the book label of Henry Currie Marillier, Kelmscott House, Hammersmith. Marillier was a friend of both William Morris and Cobden-Sanderson, wrote biographies of Burne-Jones and Ruskin, and was a leading member of the Arts and Crafts movement.
