Original publisher's purple cloth binding with gilt lettering on front cover and spine. Spine has faded to a light brown. 5 3/4" x 8 3/4." 218 pages, complete. Many black-and-white illustrations (diagrams and graphs), complete. Two former owner's stamps in black ink on verso of front free endpaper and a facing flyleaf: "Library of Leslie F. Blanchard." Pages are very clean and intact except for minuscule age toning. Binding is tight. Covers are clean and intact overall but have sunning and a few small stains along the spine, some chipping at head and tail of spine and outer joints, and slight wear at the corners.
