Ranjitsinhji (1872-1933) was the ruling prince of the Indian state of Nawanagar from 1907-1933 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest cricket batsmen of all time. He was a Test cricketeer (Test is the longest form of cricket and also considered its highest standard) for the English cricket team and also played first-class cricket for the University of Cambridge and county cricket for the Sussex County Cricket Club.
