The Chinese Cultural Revolution, circa 1966-1976, was a social/ political movement started by Mao Tse Tung, Chairman of the ruling CCP, to reinforce strict communist dogma and obliterate traditional Chinese culture and capitalism. This armband declares its' wearer to be a Shanghai Revolutionary Committee of Colleges and Universities member. Seal # 0010050 ??? ?????? ??? ????? Mao mobilized students at the onset of the Cultural Revolution in 1966-68 to drive his doctrine throughout China quickly. Some soiling but nice condition.. Ephemera. Book Condition: Very Good.
