Near fine (rectangular white paper pasted over top half fep, presumably to hide an inscription) in a vg++ edgeworn d.w., closed marginal tear lower rear panel. This is still a printing of the original edition which has all the colour plates, as opposed to the second edition of 1974 and subsequent issues which feature some of the same original colour plates now reproduced as black and white.

A near fine copy (ink name fep, light bump to binding at foot spine) in a vg++ edgeworn d.w., light creasing head spine and adjacent areas). This issue has some of the plates which were in colour in the first edition, now reproduced in black and white due to the publisher's loss of the original separations.
