Two regions are demarcated by printed colors of pink and blue. Resembles a modern political map. No date, circa 1902-1916. Map with margins: 7" x 9 3/4." Printed map area: 4 3/4" x 7." Formerly part of a book, John Clark Ridpath's History of the United States. "Deckled edge" on left from where map was formerly adhered, likely to spine. Map is virtually pristine and intact except for slight age toning, a few light marks on front, and some wrinkling and creases in upper-right corner. A Very Good copy. The map shows the different land acquisitions established by English land grants in the years 1606-1732 in the United States and Canada. Among the established territories or regions are the Plymouth Colony, Georgia Colony, and lands acquired by the London Company in 1606.
